The Adventures…

The adventures in Croatia will be plenty…

Plivitce National Park: Simply said, it’s Plivitce is gorgeous. Lakes, boardwalks and cool boardwalk trails all work magically together to create a unique destination. Around every bend is another beautiful view. Be prepared to ooh and ahh as we make our way through the park.

Kayaking The Cetina River in Omis: Omis is a seaside town nestled at the base of the Dinara Mountain where the Cetina River flows into the Adriatic Sea. With an inviting coastline, quaint old town, deep canyon and striking mountains, there are an array of outdoor adventures in this quaint town.

Facials & Spa Day at Palace Elisabeth on Hvar: Palace Elisabeth elegantly combines the beauty of it’s past with the luxurious present. Distinguished by unique architecture & unique design this landmark hotel captures the true essence of Hvar village. We will soak in the beauty of Palace Elisabeth and the views with a day at the spa and the most amazing facial you will ever have!

Biking & Kayaking in Mljet: Forest-shrouded Mljet is one of the most seductive of all the Adriatic islands. The Alepo Pine which makes up the forest was brought to Mljet from Alepa (Israel) before the time of Christ. The sap of the trees produces an aroma that is hypnotic, especially for first time visitors. Biking the island offers the perfect combination of challenge, vistas, quaint towns and a pizza stop. In addition, a visit to a small inland saltwater lake on the island offers kayaking. In the middle of the lake lies the small Isle of Saint Mary, home to a 12th-century Benedictine monastery. This is a lovely place to wander around the old Monastery, its grounds, and ruins.

Hike To Sutvrac Fortress & Sandy Beach on Lopud: A healthy hike up to Sutvrac Fortress is just enough to get the heart pumping. Beautiful views await from the top and maybe even a peak of mountain goats. We wind back down to one of Croatia’s few sandy beaches to enjoy the afternoon. The. Perfect. Day.

Dubrovnik Wall Walk: Let’s get HIGH! On the wall, that is. When you walk on top of the walls, strolling from tower to tower, you get breathtaking views of both the entire Old Town below and the Adriatic Sea. Gazing down at the fortified city, you see a treasure trove of Gothic and Renaissance churches, monasteries, Venetian palaces and ornately carved fountains – all crammed together with shuttered apartments, hole-in-the-wall boutiques, and outdoor restaurants and cafés. It’s a kaleidoscopic feast for the eyes – and a fascinating glimpse into the lives of the people who reside within the famous walls. And, a BONUS - drinks are served as you make your way around the wall.

The Eats…

You will be WOWED by what is achieved in the smallest kitchen on the catamaran. Big love and care is put into the food by your skipper and crew who go above and beyond - making everything including sauces, jams and dressings from scratch when they could easily come from a jar.

Food is fresh daily and all dietary needs met.

Breakfast and lunch/dinner are provided daily while on the sailing excursion. The third meal of the day will be enjoyed at the many unique Croatian Island restaurants.

Croatian food has many influences from surrounding countries yet has its own flare. Each region has its own flavor - we will enjoy cuisine from the Dalmatian Coast & the Zagreb region. Food found along the Dalmatian coast, and on the islands, is based heavily on fish (my favorite is ordering the WHOLE fish!), green veggies, olive oil, and seasonings like garlic, rosemary, parsley, etc… Dalmatian cuisine is the typical Mediterranean cuisine.

Zagreb food, on the other hand, has many similarities with central European countries. Typical Zagreb food includes meat dishes, and side dishes are usually comprised of potatoes, other root veggies, and cabbage.

Your Guide….

Hey, I’m Heather! My husband and I visited Croatia in August 2021 for our Honeymoon. We didn’t want to go to the classic places people think of when they think of a honeymoon. We wanted to be active and also enjoy downtime sun bathing. We didn’t want to just sit on the beach for a week. My husband loves history and we both love the water, so a sailing excursion in Croatia seemed to be the perfect blend for us - a location full of adventure, beauty and historic structures.

We were blown away.

From the healing crystal clear blue waters of the Adriatic Sea to the historic walled cities around every corner, we felt like kings and queens. Not to mention seeing the most waterfalls I’ve ever seen in one place! I can’t wait to share the beauty of Croatia with you!

Croatia made me feel like a RADIANT GODDESS and reminded me that she is in there always - I just have to remember to treat her to such luxury often. Come on this journey with me to discover the radiant goddess within in you… she is WAITING to be tended to!
